Testimonials

Group Size
Each workshop accommodates up to 14 people. While this is larger than our Costa Rica groups, the Galápagos offers wide open landscapes, incredibly approachable wildlife, and predictable animal behavior making it an ideal destination for guiding a bigger group without compromising on personal attention.
Despite the larger group size, you will still receive 1-on-1 photography tuition throughout the trip to ensure you get the best possible shots and tailored guidance whenever you need it.
The Boat
For this workshop, we’ll be staying on a spacious private yacht fully dedicated to our group for the entire journey. The boat is exceptionally comfortable and comes with a full crew available 24/7 to assist with anything you might need, ensuring a smooth and stress-free experience both on and off the water.
One of the biggest advantages of doing this workshop from a boat is the freedom to explore more of the Galápagos. While we sleep, the yacht travels between islands, allowing us to wake up each morning at a completely new location.
This means we can access remote areas, experience a wider variety of wildlife, and make the absolute most of our time in the archipelago — something that simply isn’t possible when staying on land.
There are 2 type of rooms available:
(All rooms have AC and En-Suite Bathroom)
Twin Rooms
2 Single Beds
(Same Gender Sharing for Solo Travellers)
Double Rooms
1 Double Bed
(For Couples)

(Prince Philip’s Steps & Darwin Bay)
At Prince Philip’s Steps, we explore a seabird-rich plateau home to large colonies of Red-footed Boobies, Nazca Boobies, Frigatebirds, and the elusive Short-eared Owl.
During this time of year, it’s common to see birds nesting right along the trail, many tending to their eggs or feeding their chicks just a few feet away. It’s a wonderful opportunity to photograph natural behaviors courtship, nesting, feeding, and parent chick interactions.
In the afternoon, we visit Darwin Bay, a beautiful coral beach surrounded by coastal vegetation. Here, we continue with intimate wildlife photography, capturing herons, mockingbirds, marine iguanas, and Swallow-tailed Gulls.
Many species also nest in this area, offering great chances to observe adults caring for their young and to photograph chicks in natural, scenic settings.

After exploring the beach, we enjoy a 90-minute snorkeling session in the sheltered bay an excellent opportunity to swim alongside playful sea lions, observe colorful reef fish, and explore the rocky underwater terrain.
If you prefer not to snorkel, you’re welcome to stay on the yacht, relax on deck, or use the quiet time to review and organize your photos.
Later in the day, we head to Dragon Hill, a fascinating landscape of dry forest and lava outcrops.
Here, we search for the island’s iconic Land Iguanas, often seen basking on warm rocks or feeding on prickly pear cactus pads.

Day 5
Santa Cruz Highlands & Puerto Ayora
